Now when we have rescue dogs in the studio we don’t have all the “settle in” time we have in normal sessions, so sometimes it gets a little intense and in a big white room…  Sunday saw the dogs from ICARE Dog Rescue their volunteers and a ton of visitors and prospective adopters descended on the studio. My thanks to all the volunteers that kept me on schedule and helped me get these very cool pictures. We had a fine spectrum of hounds in house from the sweetest little cocker…  You have to love this big guy, all boy, all puppy, just big as a horse. We are all thinking of him here at Dogma as he’s currently undergoing some treatment for one of those Great Dane specific complaints. GET WELL SOON BIG GUY.  I love shooting Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, so far they’ve always come in pairs, they are super friendly, love to please and most importantly from my point of view, eminently bribable with treats. This keeps them close to the camera and we get really pretty chocolate box shots like this. These two are particularly sweet,…  The Pointers Gretchen is a 6 year old German Shorthaired Pointer. Kaarine and Hanz are her offspring 4 and 3 years old respectively. Gretchen is a well-adjusted confident dog, after all she has doting humans and her kids with her where ever she goes.
